Dallas Cowboys Jerseys It’s only an hour or so before kickoff against the Philadelphia Eagles, and there is seriousness to the approach the Dallas Cowboys players take in warmups.

But there is Lucky Whitehead dancing. Soon Ezekiel Elliott is bouncing. Then Dak Prescott. Dez Bryant gets involved. So does Brice Butler.

For the briefest of seconds, Jason Witten, the 34-year-old pro’s pro, dips in and gets involved.

“It’s the character of these guys,” Witten said. “They have a lot of fun. You want to be a part of it, and they certainly want you to be a part of it. I didn’t give them much but the laugh of me actually trying to pretend like I can give them something.”

Witten is the third-oldest Cowboy, Cheap nfl Jerseys behind Tony Romo and L.P. Ladouceur. He has played more games (219) as a Cowboy than anybody in team history other than Ed “Too Tall” Jones (224). He has played in more consecutive games than anybody in team history, started more games than anybody in team history and logged more consecutive starts than anybody in team history.

Witten has played football longer than Elliott has been alive.

“Yeah, think about it if you count his high school college and pro years, I’m 21,” Elliott said. “Do the math.”

Witten is not only one of the Cowboys’ captains, he is the conscience of the team. While he is deadly serious about his job, he knows how to relate to each player in the locker room. Last week, after concluding an interview session, Witten got a hold of the oversized tennis ball used in the laundry-bin basketball games in the locker room. His first shot was off. His second shot missed, as did his third. He was about to walk off when he took one final shot.

As it went in Witten walked off, holding his shooting hand high, like Larry Bird in the 3-point contest so many years ago.

“He’s a real cool guy,” Bryant said. “He’s got a sense of humor. I think that’s the coolest thing about him. He laughs. He jokes. If you’re a hard worker, that’s the type of guy you want to be around. The way he just talks to us, I just think it’s amazing. That guy got everything. When you got a guy being as cool as him, I think it’s just amazing to be around this locker room.”

As players age, the season can be a grind. While the games remain the most fun, practices can be a pain.

“I’ve never seen Witt not act energized,” Elliott said. “Ever since the first OTAs, you see Witt come out he works his tail off. He has fun with the game. I think that’s something he just brings out there, part of his personality.”

He has set franchise records for receptions and is closing in on the team mark for receiving yards. He has played in 10 Pro Bowls and might add an 11th this season. But he plays for one thing now: a chance to win a championship.

“Just the way it’s gone and to be able to
Cheap jersey wholesale have this opportunity to impact young players in such a positive way and the way they’re playing is remarkable,” Witten said. “It’s fun to watch and be a part of it. I think this whole football team, going back to the creed and the group coming together, you understand that every moment is really precious in that how all-in you are to it. That’s something I’ve been thinking about and they have put a smile on my face and they energize you in a lot of runs. It’s fun to be a part of.”

As popular Elliott, Prescott and Bryant have become, Witten can trump them in the rap game. As part of A Tribe Called Quest’s first album in 18 years, Witten and Romo are referenced in “We the People …”

“One day the kids will be cheap ncaa jerseys basketball proud of old pops,” Witten said, laughing. “He’s in a rap song.”
