Injured Boston Bruins Jerseys forward Patrice Bergeron was back out on the ice at TD Garden Monday morning, but not in the capacity that both the team and fans were hoping for.
Bergeron, who is set to be re-evaluated next week due to a foot fracture, was present for the Bruins’ annual team photo Monday, but needed to be pushed out on the ice in a chair due to his injury.
The 32-year-old center received an assist wholesale jerseys online from defenseman Brandon Carlo after settling into the chair by the team bench, with Carlo pushing the assistant captain out towards center ice for the photo.
Once the shoot was wrapped up, forward David Backes helped Bergeron maneuver back to the bench and eventually down the tunnel.
Bergeron suffered the foot fracture while blocking a shot against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Feb. 24. He had an x-ray after the game that was negative, but a CT scan after the team’s game against the Buffalo Sabres on Feb. 25 revealed the injury.
